Learned the trade from his uncle in Istanbul and set up his first chair on Kanaalstraat in 1999. Twenty-five years later he's still there, usually in the chair closest to the window.

Last customer is taken 30 minutes before closing. Around midday (12:00–13:00) tends to be quieter — handy if you don't want to wait.
